Updates to Google Play Terms of Service

On July 29, 2026, we’re making some changes to our Google Play Terms of Service. You can review the new terms here. At a glance, here’s what this update means for you: • System Services: We added language explaining that Google’s system services (which provide services/updates on certified Android devices) may require a network connection and may use your cellular data. • Account Sharing: We added language to clarify that you are responsible for any issues with your account that result from you sharing your account details in violation of the terms. • Subscription Management: We added language explaining that you remain responsible for balances in your Play account if we are unable to charge your designated payment method.
